Is anyone else's lower abdomen painful to touch when laying on their backs?

Anyone else experienced this? I will call the midwife in the morning if not!

  • Mine is at times. It usually goes away if I prop my back up with my pregnancy pillow. Mine is because of constipation. It's really just my intestines hurting....

  • I have. This morning moving in bed was painful in my abdominal area. It turns out it was just bad gas. After I farted a few times the pain was gone.

Hope all turns out ok, OP.
  • Okay so this is happening to me too. Hurt so bad I actually thought I was going into early labor. It's okay go ahead n laugh...I did. Once I finally calmed down my Dr realized I just had severe constipation n gas :( this is awful ha what are yall doing to make it better? I've been eatting alot of fiber with no help. Colace didn't seem to do anything either. Trying everything I can.

It's probably just gas or things moving around. Try not to worry too much! Your body is doing at it needs to do.

Edit: because spaces between words are important.
  • Usually if I have to poop. It hurts just walking around. Pooping makes everything better!
  • As basically everybody else has said, it usually is related to poop/gas :)
