TTC After a Loss

Need to vent....

I was married in October and ever science then I have been asked two questions that are starting to wear on me. "How is married life?" "Any babies"? The marriage one fine whatever but do not ask that if you don't know the woman personally because telling so one you hardly know that yes you had two babies but they are in heaven is what I want to say sometimes and not so nicely! It is no ones business and I don't want to tell everyone. It is bad enough with social media is flooded with everyone else's baby bumps and not mine. I can be happy for others it just wears on me sometimes. I wish I didn't have a chemical and ectopic pregnancy but it did. I am thankful for this sight though I don't know what I would do without you ladies to talk to.

Re: Need to vent....

  • I hear you on that. I also hate it when people who know you but don't know about the losses say things like "I'm still waiting on babies!" I actually got that from someone who had 5 miscarriages herself, you think she would know better.

  • That's my reason for avoiding get together a on my husbands side, since his extended family doesn't know, they would all ask.
  • A waitress asked last night at my Inlaws favorite restaurant and I was like no not yet and I will have a glass of wine please lol
  • Every two months, the lady that cuts my hairs asks if I'm pregnant yet. Once right after I had a miscarriage.

My dental hygienist used to ask every six months if I was dating anyone. I said no so many times, I started dreading my dental appointments!  Now that I'm married, she says she hopes I have a big belly next time she sees me.

Hopefully I'll get pregnant again soon.  I don't think my hair stylist and dental hygienist can take anymore disappointment. ;)

  • Ugh, yes. And what also sucks is the "are you pregnant..?" After you say you have a headache, stomachache, fatigue or have been feeling moody. I get that all the time from coworkers. Nope, definitely 100% sure I'm not pregnant because if if it were possible for anyone to know, it would be me with all my BFN sticks. Not a funny joke.
