I may not get paid maternity but

My boss has been so cool and understanding during this pregnancy. I'm office bound which is so much easier on my body. I've been having this issue with being itchy and my Dr. does not want to send me for lab work again to check my bile levels. She told me to go to a dermatologist. Fine then. Because I'm so itchy I don't get a lot of sleep and I'm just very uncomfortable. Boss told me I can leave early whenever I need to. She said it's important to take care of the baby and also have some energy left when I go home to wrangle my 4 year old. I mean, I don't get paid for the time I miss but what boss does that?! I don't get paid a ton here considering my degrees but I freakin' love it. Just wanted to share because I feel like stress has been lifted.

I misread the title of this thread - "...paid maternity butt" (second "t" added my by reading too fast brain)

I was all ready to hate on your job for not giving you paid maternity leave - like "Back off my sister bumpie, bitches!"
