Hi all,
Newcomer to The Bump. I have a 8 yr DD and recently was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistant. I just started Metformin and was just wanting to join in the discussion of TTC. DH & I have been married for almost 5 years and never considered more children until recently. I missed a period last month and drove myself nuts with about 10 BFN hpts. Once I went to the dr and figured out what was going on, we sat down and really discussed the future baby-wise. We hope to get pregnant in the next year or two. Just wanted to introduce myself!

    Welcome! The ladies here are really supportive and a lot of us have PCOS. I hope the metformin helps! There are so many great things about that medication. If you have a OB treating you, be careful. A lot of them are quick to administer clomid/femara without monitoring how your ovaries respond. If you get to that point, really look into the possible negatives with these drugs and be sure your doctor is looking out for them.
