Every two weeks? Anyone else?

Once I have my appointment on September 2nd I'll be having check ups every 2 weeks follwing. Anyone else's OB offices do this once you hit 3rd trimester?

I'm not sure how far along you'd be on Sept 2 so I can't tell you if it's typical, but what i do know from my last pregnancy (and it'll apply to this one) is that in the 3rd trimester you have check ups every 2 weeks (my 2 week check ups last time started at 30 weeks), and then after 36 weeks you have check ups every week.

Yep. My doc does once a month up to 30 weeks ... then every two weeks up to 36 weeks ... then every week for the last four weeks.

Yep- Then it goes to every week, the last month until your due date.

AH this thread is making me realize how fast this is all going. The other day someone mentioned I was 5 months pregnant and I had to backtrack and realize I really am. :-*

At some point, my OB will have me come in every two weeks and then every week. I don't remember when that is, although I think she told me at the last visit. I'm still on every four weeks (21 weeks tomorrow).

Its so different here in the uk, im considered high risk. But because its my 3rd i only see my midwife at 16 weeks then not till 28 weeks! I think thats so wrong... I will have a scan every month from 28 weeks though. But the big wait in between is torture! :-q

I'm high risk(36,identical twins, GD). I see my high risk doc every 2 weeks and the regular OB every 3rd week. I was told I would be seen every week... Then every 3 days, then possibly every day towards the end... Yikes.

That's a lot of doctors appointments! When I was pregnant with my daughter my amiotic fuilds were low towards then end so I had NST twice a week and a doctors appointment every two weeks

I'm the same- I go ever month and then starting in September in every two weeks, then the last month every week. I'm seeing a high risk OB, but I ended up not being high risk luckily, but I stayed with that OB. It's a lot of appointments and she does ultrasounds at each one. I'm wondering about cutting down on them when I go in tomorrow

I'll be starting every two weeks at week 30 so one more appointment at 27weeks on September 2nd and then every two weeks from there

Yeah that's how my doctor does it but being that I'm high risk with twins at 23w4d I've been seeing my OB every two weeks since I've been 16 weeks. I just started to see a high risk doc every four weeks not sure if it'll change as I progress in my pregnancy or not.

Sounds right to me... That was their original plan for me as well but now I'm going to a high risk ob also. I'm not sure what's in store for me now.

I'm higher risk. I see the MFM every 3 weeks and started seeing my regular OB every two weeks at 18 weeks. They're in the same office, though. Otherwise I'd have to see the MFM every 2 weeks as well.

Same mine go to every two weeks in September and then once I hit mid November, I'm once a week until birth.

After my sept 8 appt i am every 3 weeks. Then nov every week.

Mine have been ranging from every 1-4 weeks so far. Hopefully they'll start getting a little more regular come September!

My office does every two weeks starting 28 weeks. I go Sept 9 for my glucose tolerance test, repeat anatomy scan, and doctor visit right after. Since I'll be 28 weeks that day I'll see her every two weeks until 36 and then once a week.

I am considered high risk since I'm having twins, I started going every 2 weeks at 18 weeks..I get an ultrasound once a month and I will be going every week starting at 28 weeks!

I'm considered low risk and this is my second so midwife is having me come in every 4-5 weeks until 36 weeks then it is every week after that. I work at the hospital where I get my care so it's easy to pop in if I need them and they are easy to get ahold of with questions so I'm totally okay with this schedule!

No! My doctor/system doesn't do this until much much later.
