After wake time, I usually rock LO until she's pretty sleepy. Every time I move to her to the crib to nap she wakes up and cries. If we get her, she settles back down. I don't want her to train us, so any advice? She uses a paci but if it falls out while in the crib she wakes up crying and it's us back upstairs to give it to her.
She's 6 weeks, 3 days. I read in Baby Wise to let them cry for 5-10 minutes, it wouldn't hurt anything but she's stubborn and won't let up.
Re: Daytime Naps- Help
Also, consider the WubbaNub pacifier. You might be able to tuck it into the swaddle blanket which will hold it somewhat in place.
She's a pretty good napper in my arms, swing and rock n play...we will keep attempting the crib and if it catches on great and if not we'll just try the other nap ways that do!
After I wrote the original post she napped in crib for a good hour and a half- because she was so tired from refusing nap earlier! Thanks for the input and just always good to see what other moms are doing during the day.
