Can't stop crying?

Hi! First pregnancy. Just found out last week (very early) only just five weeks today! I'm not normally a super emotional person but I've cried five times in the last two days, mostly over nothing. Is it too early for mood swings like this? I'm not crazy... Right?

Re: Can't stop crying?

  • I bawled my eyes out at a Publix commercial tonight. Now I'm normally an emotional person anyway, but pregnancy hormones make me a crazy person.

  • ^^^ wss. It's like, if someone looks at me funny, it's over. The worst are those pampers commercials with the sleeping babies. I bawl every time. My kids probably think I'm nuts by now.
  • This happened to me for the first time last week! I'm not a crier. DH and I were joking about my feet getting bigger because I read that in my book. We were laughing hysterically and all of a sudden I was crying about my feet getting bigger (they are already huge). DH looked at me like I had lost my mind!
  • That was my first pg symptom! I am soooo not a crier, but I cried in my principal's office after a rough day. I took a test that night and here we are!
  • Not crazy. Totally normal...as normal as the pregnant mind is. I cry at the smallest things all the time. Commercials are the worst for me...especially Pampers or Huggies commercials.

  • I cried two times today. The second time I was at work and feeling super nauseous. I went to the bathroom and cried. Cried because I felt sick and couldn't go home and sleep. I'm only 6 weeks, I hope it doesn't get worse!
  • I'm currently riding the crazy train and it doesn't make any stops to get off. My poor DH is stuck on it with me. You aren't alone. :)

  • Yup, normal. And just a word of warning.. for me, anyway, my emotions never went 100% back to normal after having my son. I am just WAY more emotional than I used to be.

  • I cried over absolutely EVERYTHING with my last pregnancy!!! Totally normal! The tears haven't started flowing quite yet this time, but I am sure they are coming! It's not the worst symptom you can have! Good luck!
  • I seem to be crying at everything lately. Found a few stretch marks last night and bawled my eyes out..
  • I'm normally very level headed and don't get angry... ever! Until now! I get these waves of anger with incompetent people these days!
  • Actually, I am the opposite! Due to thyroid issues, I always seem to have mood swings and they get worse when I pms. As I got close to AF I noticed I wasn't getting upset. I wasn't yelling (terrible, I know), and I was just generally in a good mood. That was my first real symptom I noticed.
  • I was tearing up on my walk earlier today thinking out this baby...it's my only symptom so far!
