am I in labor?

im due August 12th, but today I've been like leaking a lot and I'm pretty sure it's my mucous plug just slowly coming out. I've been getting these cramps in my vaginal area that only last a couple seconds but go away yet keep coming back. Should I go to the hospital or wait a little to see if the pain gets worse? Don't know if it could just be Braxton hicks or the real thing.

    Agreed. If your contractions aren't time able or your water hasn't broken I would say no. However, we are not doctors. I would suggest calling your doctor if you think you're in labor.

    What are you leaking? Fluid or discharge? If it's fluid as in your water, they'll want you to come in. Water bags don't always burst sometimes they have a slow leak.

    Increased vaginall discharge is normal st this stage in pregnancy. So is crotch pain.

    If what you are leaking is completely clear and has no odor it maybe your water. There is a very quick swab test that will tell the doctor. I would call

    If you think your water has broken call your doctor immediately.

    However if you don't have contractions getting longer, stronger and closer together you're not in labor

    Trust me you will know labor contractions. However, women don't always recognize fluid from their water. If you suspect it isn't just an increase in discharge, you should call your doctor.

    Doesn't sound like labor, but more like body prepping for labor.

    My doctor told me I'm having some contractions and I don't even feel them but she said when it's labor time, I will certainly feel them.

    @acgonzalez22 labor contractions are no joke, but I didn't realize I was in labor until they were 3 minutes apart!

    They started for me with a similar feeling . Then my labour contractions were so fast and close together they started 5 mins apart for about 30 mins then they kicked in to 2 mins by time I got back to l&d I was 6cm and in the time I got undressed I reached 10cm. Listen to your body and once you feel like you should call the hospital ring them.
