baby acne/spots?

My baby has little spots that look like acne on his face, which I've been told are from my breast milk getting on his face. Does anyone else have this? Any suggestions to stop it?

Mine has it too. Showed up when he was around 2 weeks old. My pediatrician said it was hormonal. We are pumping all these hormones to them and then they don't have any after birth. He said not to do anything, just leave it be and it was resolve on its own in a few weeks. And it has. It was all over his face, now he just has a few spots on his cheeks.

Thank you. Its a relief to know its normal and someone else has it too. I'm just making sure to wash his face with a warm flannel.

Completely normal. In fact my pediatrician recommended putting breast milk on my baby's face to help clear it up faster. After feelings I would hand express some and rub it in and it has since completely gone away. He actually recommended using breast milk on most of LOs superficial ailment, not sure what else that would be though.

We had this too. Breast milk totally works. And works for diaper rash too.
At one month all baby acne has cleared up. My baby has little white spots (called 'milk spots' --which have nothing to do with milk) it's the sweat glands developing from what I read.

Both of my boys had this all over their cheeks and noses. I didn't do anything to it and it disappeared by a month old.
