does anybody experience this thing i started at 37 weeks and I couldn't sleep properly it always happen early morning at 3 am my right hand numbs and tingling its so annoying
Yes I had it in last pregnancy. Just put it down to carpel tunnel syndrome. I'm 24 weeks now and starting to have this occasionally when I wake up. It will pass after you've had the baby
Hi, I've had the same since 25 weeks. Have spoken to my doc about it and he said also carpel tunnel and to wears wrist support at night and try keep your hand elevated during the day if you can. I can't with work but I find that plenty of water/fluids help.
I called my doctor about it this week because I have NOT been able to sleep. She said it's carpal tunnel, and with our bodies retaining water and swelling that it's easier for the nerves to get punched. She said to drink lots of water, and limit sodium. I've been sleeping in a recliner and that's kept me from waking up in pain.
Thanks everyone for the reply, been to check with my midwife and she said its normal to the late pregnancy and it will be soon gone after the baby comes
It's pregnancy carpal tunnel, & it sucks. I have it really bad at work, especially since I'm typing at a computer all day. Someone suggested that I try a wrist brace. Maybe you should, too!
