Give or take the spelling Alpamacron, or macaroni of the alps. Noodles baked in a layer like lasagna with gourmet cheeses, butter, cream, grilled onions, and topped afterwards with green onions and in our case some chopped bacon. We are pairing it with steak. Smells like DH burnt the steak though (
Crockpot for us, too! DH makes ham that he cuts open and fills with honey. He crock pots it with veggies and diced potatoes all around so they soak up the honey and salty taste of the ham. Yummmmm. One of my favorites.
Aww I just put this on the random thread bc I am so proud of it. Doritos taco salad! Just as I remembered it from when my mom would make it. I added avocado and black beans so it wasn't a completely horrible dinner
....strawberry chocolate poptarts. Don't judge. I have been craving these things all weekend.
Just an idea for you, buy the plain strawberry ones and a container of Betty crocker or whatever brand you like chocolate frosting. It's SO much better with fresh frosting. My older brother used to do this with the vanilla frosting.
We had Chipotle! Yum! And on the way home we stopped at the grocery and got a cookie cake. You know, because, the baby wanted it.
You can still eat chipotle without throwing up? Every other pregnant woman I know IRL has had it come back to haunt them and are now on a chipotle hiatus.

I normally love to cook, but since being pregnant can never figure out what sounds good, until someone else suggests something, soooo I love these posts! I work late tonight and don't want the two dishes hubs makes, so I'll be picking up pizza on the way home!!!
I'm still getting "evening sickness" for whatever reason, so planning dinners has been rough. I think I'm going to stick with what has worked the last couple of nights - either blueberry waffles with fresh blueberries on top, or maple and cinnamon oatmeal. I can't wait to have real, healthy dinners again! But at least I'm able to keep healthy breakfasts and lunches down now, so I'll take that progress.
DH is working till 10 so I came home at 5, took a nap, and am now ordering Jimmy Johns. DH is the cook in our family so I'm kind of lost at dinner time without him.
Hubby's birthday so he got to pick. Homemade chicken n' dumplings and triple chocolate fudge brownies. My city boy likes the rare days when I cook my old family recipies. When he asks what's for dinner and I've pulled out one of great granny's recipes, I tell him it's coal miners food, he gets a little excited. Haha.
Well, it was *supposed* to be the other half of the panini I had for lunch. But I just ate it. So... I'm not sure? Haha.
I'm doing a girls' night tonight at a place that has giant and amazing salads, so I'm hoping that will sound good by the time I get there. Otherwise, they also have giant and amazing desserts! Haha.
DH made saag paneer tonight, which is one of my favorites and gets the whole family full to the brim with spinach. He got the spice combination perfect. I kind of want another serving but I know I'll want it more tomorrow for lunch....
