Baby wrap/carrier question

can anyone reccomend a good baby wearing wrap or carrier? I had a baby bjorn with my son and never used it. Got rid of it and now I wish I had something for this LO. She has reflux so I'm wondering if wearing her after feeding will help keep her upright. ???

Re: Baby wrap/carrier question

  • Moby or boba wraps. Becco Gemini or ergo carriers.

  • I have a baby bjorn and an ergo baby!
  • We have a moby wrap, which is awesome for soothing baby, but to me, it's a pain in the butt to tie when I have a screaming baby and am in a hurry.
  • We love the ergo!
  • The Ergo has been wonderful!
  • I use an Evenflo breathable carrier from Wal Mart, it cost around $20 and I like it so much more than the more complicated carrier I had with my first. I used it for my second then donated it since we thought we were done having kids. I bought the same model again because I loved it so much.
  • Love my Boba!
  • The moby wrap is great but not ideal for hot weather.
I purchased the lilebaby complete. It is very similar to the ergo, but it's about half the price. I absolutely love it! It has great back support for you and multiple carrying positions for baby. And is ergonomically friendly on baby's hips. I would definitely recommend it over the ergo simply because it's so much cheaper, but it's essentially the same carrier.
  • Kinderpack it you can afford or get your hands on one

  • I have a boba and a mei tai. Haven't gotten the hang of the boba just yet, only tried it twice so far but it is pretty simple to wrap. I just can't seem to get the sides positioned just right to tuck baby all the way in.

I really like my mei tai so far. It's very easy to wrap and sturdy. It's more structured in the front than the boba but not to where you can't move it around if needed.

  • I have the mei tai as well and LOVE it. It is just right and works for both my husband and I (I am 4 9 and he is 6) I got it on amazon for under $20.
  • Thanks all! I need back support for sure! I had a baby bjorn with my 1st but didn't like it as it hurt my back. I live in FL so if moby wrap isn't good for hot weather than I don't want to go that route.
  • They make wraps out of all different fabrics. I have one (can't remember the brand) that you can even take into a pool. I really like the wrap. It feels secure and puts baby right against your body.
  • I love my ergo. I can wear him then when daddy wants to wear him it's easily adjusted.
  • Ergo 360 is amazing and with the infant insert - pricey but worth every penny - I can wear it for hours and also never slips down like she does in the boba wrap
  • Just bought the Boba wrap yesterday, arrived today, not sure if I wrapped it right. Baby was screaming uncontrollably, nothing was helping her, I put her in the wrap and walked around for 5 minutes and she's now completely passed out in it.
  • We have the infantino newborn carrier!
LOVE IT!!! My little guy is very comfortable and is content. :)
  • I have a Tula and love it. Got to make sure you purchase the newborn insert though.
  • Maya wrap is the easiest and most comfortable I've used (Moby is too complicated)

  • Love my boba carrier and the pattern is so cute too! I use it all the time and there is a seat attachment for right now so he is boosted up. And it has the attached head cover that is detachable I love it so much.
  • I love our baby k'tan. We were going to buy a moby but I saw the baby k'tan and fell in love because it has two loops of fabric that are connected! No tying! You still can put baby in all different posistion. Was looking on their website they have solid colors, patterns, organic, active, and breeze ones to choose from. And the box says the bump liked it a few years ago (2012-2013?) but I love how simple it is to wear, was worried about how sercure it was but it feels safe for our baby to be in..which is most important!
  • I have a jjcole agility wrap carrier that baby girl loves to be in, it was reasonable price wise and super easy to use. I also have an ergo for when she gets bigger.
  • I have a boba as well as the baby born miracle carrier. It has a better lower back support which is super helpful since both hubby and I are tall. We use both for different situations.
  • I have a boba wrap but haven't used it yet... How soon after c-section (I'm 12 days pp) would it be comfortable to use, or does it matter? Anyone use a boba wrap after c-section? How soon?
  • I have a solly baby wrap. Just like a moby but lighter fabric that's more breathable.
  • @ecloho I tried out my ktan carrier three weeks post c section, and felt comfortable.

  • I have a ton! I have a ktan which I love! An even flo & Eddie Bauer that are very similar. And a carrier a friend brought me from Guatemala. I love the ktan and the Guatemalan carrier right now that he's still a newborn.
