Any STM have experience with the Bugaboo Cameleon3 vs the Uppababy Cruz? Or FTM who have chosen one over the other? I keep going back and forth with my decision!
I have the uppa baby vista and Cruz. I love uppa! I would say if you only have one the Cruz is the way to go because it's a bit smaller and easier to get in and out of the car. It's really a great stroller. The bugaboo cup holder works perfect on it if you end up wanting a cup holder.
FTM mom here. Chose Uppababy over Bugaboo because a little bit cheaper. Chose Vista over Cruz because of capacity for expansion. We want 1-2 more kids after this, so investing in a stroller that can eventually accommodate more than 1 peanut.
FTM- We chose the uppababy Cruz. We loved the vista but I couldn't justify the price right now. If we have a second baby then I want the option to reshop around at that point as it seems people love their baby jogger (but that is currently too challenging for me to operate). Plus the Cruz is lighter so getting it in and out of the car wasn't as bad as the vista and it's a little narrower from the back wheels (my husband was running into aisles in the vista)
FTM here. I chose the Bugaboo C3. I was looking at Uppa but honestly, I really just fell in love with the look and feel of the C3. All of my friends have Uppa, so I am some lone wolf over here One major consideration for me though was that I don't really care about the weight issue of the stroller. If anything, I want my baby in something solid, so I wanted something a little heavier with big solid wheels and all that jazz.
That said, between the two, imho you really can't go wrong!
PS. I got the light blue (ice blue) fabric set for my bugaboo so now it matches my nursery color scheme, so a little of my choice was about aesthetics, which may not be a consideration for you. Just wanted to come clean!
@kingbaby2015 just curious why you decided to do a bassinet. Does it replace the need to strap the car seat into the stroller? I'm kind of bassinet ignorant!
@Louisl I read that it's not good for baby's spine (especially newborns) to stay in carseat for long periods of time. It is preferable to have them lie down completely flat in a bassinet if you plan to take baby along for trips or maybe several errands during the day.
