Ok ladies.....Not my first rodeo but man O man when does the madness stop??? I have been TTCing for 3 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS this past year. I have had one know miscarriage and had DNC and I am pretty sure I may have had two others very early on. Tried fertility treatment for a year and it thrashed my body. Decided to go the holistic route (Essential Oils, plant based products, and Acunpuncture) and became pregnant last November but miscarried. ANYWAYS finally feeling like my body is lining up with the universe, started Metformin a few months ago and finally got the scale to move in a healthy direction and blood sugars have been great. Thought this cycle was going to be THE cycle and now I am on cycle day 37, no AF, and a BFN!!! I had some mid-cycle spotting (literally only showed up on toilet paper, never even filled a pantie liner) on cycle day 13 and it lasted for 5 days. I have never had this before. Thought it was possibly ovulation spotting but who knows. Had several pregnancy symptoms but the test are not matching up with symptoms..... FRUSTRATED!!!! Has anyone else had any experience with mid-cycle spotting?

What ALittleCountry said plus I think a lot of women have mid spotting for various reasons.Since you had spotting earlier on it could have been from ovulating but wouldn't know unless you temp.I know a few women irl and on this board who has PCOS and have lots of mid cycle bleeding but also those who don't.
Glad you are losing weight/gaining? whichever fits your scale and blood sugar is doing well.Sorry for you losses and I wish you the best of luck.
My Ovulation Chart
Everyone is siffeent, but 37 days is the average for my cycles...so that's not necessarily long. You probably ovulated later than you thought.
Are you charting your temp to know when you ovulated?
By definition, a phantom pregnancy is when someone doesn't know they are pregnant. So you can't THINK you are having a phantom pregnancy. If you are pregnant, it will show up on a test. You are more likely to get a false positive than a false negative.
I used to spot prior to having the kids. It didn't affect conception for me personally. That's not to say it means nothing for you, but sometimes spotting is just spotting.

If not these are the first two steps
Unfortunately a negative pregnancy test means not pregnant at this time. 37 days really isnt that long of a cycle for pcos either. In fact it's a normal cycle length for the average woman. Good luck lurk and lurk some more. There is a ton of good info on this site.
Also with ttc for 3 years did you see a reproductive endocrinologist? Or were you just visiting an ob? And re is more competent in infertility treatments and may not tear you up as badly as an ob overseeing a patients care.
