DS can FINALLY hold his own head up!!! I never thought we'd reach this point He hates tummy time and fights me every time. I feel like we are making progress now! I love that we have more things to do now when he's awake (practice sitting, standing, sitting in the chair on his own while I read). Fantastic!
DS is holding is head up really well now and no longer completely hates tummy time. He almost did a back to belly roll over but I think it was an accident, lol. Lots of grasping, focusing more, kicking more, smiling more...It's certainly getting interesting.
Now that DD can prop herself on her forearms she doesn't hate tummy time as much. Grasping toys is new this week, as is noticing herself in the mirror instead of the frame around it
DD also isn't hating tummy time as much anymore, she's actually smiling during it now! Also, she's been following close objects (toys and such) for quite a while, but this week she's been following things at a distance more, like watching the dogs run around the yard
Went forward facing in the wrap today at the mall, she was loving just looking around at everything and everyone, she's not a bobble head anymore and can hold her head up all the time now.

My DS is 11 weeks today and FINALLY let me read a book to him. Before he would scream bloody murder if I tried to read!
This too! So happy! I teach, and though it's true you can't tell which kids in your class were breastfed vs. formula, you sure can tell which kids were read to vs. not. I was getting anxious even though she's so young yet.

I'm an avid reader and in the beginning my son would cry at the top of his lungs when I tried to read to him. I would try everything: different rooms, different times of day, different books, etc. I'm so glad he likes it now!
