Intro-Second Time Mom

Hey my name is Amanda. I'm 26 and I love in Wyoming. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant with our second baby. My daughter is 14 months old. They always say that pregnancies are different and I know now they weren't kidding. ..whoever "they" are...
When I was pregnant with my daughter I never really had morning sickness until the end of my pregnancy and I had a ton of energy. This go around I am exhausted all the time and almost always battling morning sickness. I think this will be the longest 35 weeks of my life!

  • Welcome! Glad to see more moms of young toddlers! DD was born 6/7/14 and I'm due with #2 on 4/2/16 - which if this one follows sister's trend will actually come in March. Who knows though, as you said, they're all different!

  • My daughter was born 3/15/12 and the nausea was awful for 20 weeks. It was my first pg symptom. I'm not quite 4 weeks and I don't feel it yet, fx.
  • Welcome! Hopefully it gets better. I had horrible nausea with my son from around 6-10 weeks and then it got much better. I felt great up until the end.

  • With my first, I didn't start feeling nauseous until after my first appointment & it was 24/7 nausea. I couldnt throw up to even have that one moment of relief after. This time around, I was already feeling nauseous last week (feeling better this week) but I was also having hip pain at night, I am tired ALL the time (lol), my nose is stuffy, yesterday, something actually smelled horrible to me. All things that happened later in my first pregnancy. My husband even said the other night that he can feel my belly getting firmer already. I definitely worry how I am going to feel in the next few weeks, especially since we are moving in about 3 weeks. :-(
