Joint Pain

During the last 2 months of pregnancy, my knuckles and knees started to hurt badly - especially in the morning when I woke up. The Dr said it was normal and should subside after birth and after losing some baby weight. Well I'm 2 weeks pp and the pain has not subsided! I even lost 30+ of the 55 gained. Anyone else having this issue? [-(

Re: Joint Pain

  • My knees had been hurting towards the end of my pregnancy, thought it was because of the extra weight. Now 5 weeks PP I wake up and my knuckles hurt!! I didn't even realize it was a thing, I figured it's because when I *do* sleep (for my 2 hour stretch) I just pass out so deeply because I'm exhausted, I thought it was from not moving in my sleep at all. I feel like I have arthritic fingers. Hope it goes away.

  • My ankles kill!
  • My knees began to hurt around month 8. Thought it was from extra weight. PP the pain continued and thought it was from all the fluids they pumped into me. Now 15 days pp and they hurt more than ever. I've lost almost all the weight and no other joints hurt. I'm thinking it's just from inactivity. I sit on the couch a lot and only walk around the house. I'm not walking around like I was while pregnant.
  • 4 weeks PP and my hands are really stiff and hurt. Especially after I have been asleep. My knees are also horrible. They seem to be worse in the evenings when I have been on them all day. I feel like an old lady trying to get out of bed.

  • Im having pain in my wrists. Doctor said its normal due to the hormones that relax this joints and tendons during pregnancy. Should last only a couple months though.
