Baby Brezza

any thoughts on the Baby Brezza? I'm wondering if it would save some of my sanity with my twins. Or, is it a waste of money, based on your experiences? As always, thanks ladies!

Re: Baby Brezza

  • I have heard of people having problems with it. Specifically the spout where the formula comes out. The powder mixes with left over water drops and the inside begins to mold. We always just prefilled bottles. They also have formula holders where you put the right amount of scoops into each compartment (ours had 3), then you just dump it in.

  • We registered for one and received it for our shower - for twins too. :) The most complaints I've seen about it seem to be related to cleaning it, if you don't clean it all the time then the formula/water ratio can be off.
  • I think it's more of a hassle than anything. My fear is that it wouldn't be as clean as people think.
  • So glad someone made a post about this. I've been eyeing it down & thinking it's genius but I honestly didn't think about how annoying it would be to clean or unclog should it happen. Lol maybe I will just stock up on those little storage containers that @OliveOyl2014 mentioned. Those things are pretty awesome & a lot less expensive.

I've looked into these food makers and haven't heard good things about the Baby Brezza, mostly due to the mold issue. I'm considering either the Hamilton Beach Bebe machine or the Beaba Babycook Pro. Can't speak to actual use, but they are both steam and cook in one step, and have excellent reviews.
  • I'm a lurking looker from July and I have a tommy tippee bottle maker. The machine filters and heats the water and you add the scoops. It's worked for us and has cut down bottle making time significantly. The milk is always at the perfect temp. The machine will let you know when it needs to be cleaned and filter changed.
  • My cousin loves hers! We were going to register for one but we may breast feed. I thought about getting it when I started back to work but after reading above I'm concerned about the mold issue.
  • We registered and received one as well. Haven't had to use yet obviously but the only downside to it I've read is the cleaning bc it can get clogged but why wouldn't you want to keep up cleaning it anyway. I was super excited to get it! :)
