I put DS's pants on before doing up his onesie. Took me a while to figure out that it was wrong.
I also backed into someone's car while leaving a work function. There were no other vehicles around. I put my car into reverse and drove directly into their car. DH couldn't believe it. I just chose not to look behind me apparently. Oops!!!
Wheeled the stroller with DS in it into the cart return at the grocery store. Thankfully I realized before walking away what I was doing! Also like pp I've done the pants or sleeper back on without buttoning the onesie multiple times, usually during one of the midnight feeds.
I threw my son's socks in the toilet instead of the laundry basket. Got incredibly confused whilst putting in my contacts because no matter what I did my vision was blurred. I was putting 2 contacts in one eye! The ultimate in stupid tired behaviour has to be giving myself a black eye at the weekend with a cupboard door. Am now forced to apply makeup in the morning to cover up the purple monstrosity that is my eye
Went the entire day with my shirt on inside out. Wouldn't you know it just two days later I put yoga pants on backwards and went to my OB appt. that way.
After nursing my son in the car, I walked into my mom's work office with my left boob hanging out(At least I clipped my bra back on). Totally forgot to pull my tank back up. Definitely said hi to a bunch of people before noticing. )
I boiled the kettle, poured hot water into my French press and let it steep for 3 mins. When I poured a cup I realized that I had forgotten to put coffee grinds in the press. Or to grind them up at all
Don't do that to yourself @laralynn00.... We all make mistakes and you're doing a great job! Some day you'll look back and laugh bc your baby is just fine! :-*
Made a hot cup of water instead of putting the k-cup in . Also shook my open water bottle instead of my daughters bottle, which made a nice mess . Tried multiple times to put her diaper on backwards or inside out.
In the middle of the night I picked my son up out of his crib and realized he was head down! I've been beating myself up about it for a week.
As in.. his feet were up by your face? Don't beat yourself up...
I have to admit, I'm laughing pretty hard at the thought. I'm sure it was harmless!
I'm so tired I didn't get it until this explanation. I was like, there's no difference in the direction you lie in a crib. But that is tired! And he's totally fine!
I went downstairs to change the laundry and realized I never closed the wash machine lid. Once that load was done I went down to put it in the dryer and couldn't get it to turn on. I called up for my husband and told him the dryer was broken and he needed to come down and look at it. he came down.... Closed the dryer door... And it worked like magic! Duh... It must have been a long day.
I loaded the dishwasher thinking i pressed the button to clean it. Hour later emptied realizing after that I did not push the button. Oh well must of washed them good cause they looked clean lol
