Falling

I was attempting to get out if a lawn chair and the dumb thing broke underneath me. When it happened I felt some wetness but I am not 100% if it was just pee or fluid. I contacted my midwife/doula. I also have not felt the baby move as much as normal. She is having me lay down after drinking juice to see what happens...been laying here for about 45 minutes and only have felt a small amount of movement, still not much. Compared to normal. I hate just waiting. ..it is killing me...I want to know that my baby is ok...I'm 39 weeks today. Have been having cramping/contractions and tons of discharge since Tuesday. Now as I lay here it feels like maybe some contractions in my back, or maybe just pain from the fall? !

Got checked into LD and as soon as the nurse got the monitors on the baby jumped! Great heartrate, and lots of movement while being monitored! Feeling so much better!

I'm sorry, that sort of wait is never fun! As PP mentioned, if the wait gets unbearable head into L&D to get checked out. Be sure to listen to your body.

Got checked into LD and as soon as the nurse got the monitors on the baby jumped! Great heartrate, and lots of movement while being monitored! Feeling so much better!
