There have been lots of threads on this topic lately. If you search baby movement you will find several threads with lots of posters. Enjoy feeling baby kick for the first time, it's really surprising.
I'm a ftm and I've been feeling baby move since 16 weeks at least. Now I'm almost 19 and for over a week if a lay really still I can see my belly jump and dance with the baby. And it is the BEST. I mean ALL TIME BEST feeling in the world. I'm so in love with my tiny dancer and I can't wait to have them in my arms.
I'm exactly 17 weeks today and feel the twins moving every day. First very faint but they are getting stronger by the day. Even thought this isn't my first pregnancy it is still super magical!!
Just wanted to leave this here. I'm 19 weeks, and I've been feeling baby sloshing around since about 15 weeks, and I only very occasionally feel baby poking me, or kicking me and it's only one time. It hasn't been getting noticeably stronger to me the last 4 weeks, but at my last scan baby was squirming and punching in there! So sometimes it's normal to not feel it for a while. I'm jealous of all the women who can feel baby more than I can and aren't as far along as me, but I know my time will come when my baby will be moving non stop
Also 19 weeks and feel a lot of movement. Bubbles or flutters started around 16 weeks but bigger kicks and jabs at 18. My midwife said my placenta is likely at the back. This position you can feel it sooner. A placenta towards the front of your uterus can sometimes make mom not feel anything until 23 or 24 weeks. It's crazy how fast time is going by now that we are out of the first tri! It will pretty much be pumpkin spice lattes in 2 weeks and then bam January! Ahhhh!
I started feeling her move a bit and tiny little kicks a couple of times a day right at 16 weeks. Nothing hard or specific like I know if it's an arm or foot, but it's her everyone is different though. If you are on the slim side they say it can be earlier, same with it being your second or more. It's coming either way!
I felt a totally new sensation at 16+5. It was like being brushed by a feather, but much lower than I expected to feel it. It was below my pubic bone, not up near my hip bones like where I experience menstrual cramps, which is what I had imagined. It also lasted longer than I had expected. That was 5 days ago though, and I haven't felt anything since. I'm glad it happened so I know what it feels like, but wish it would become more regular. I suppose it will soon!
I'm 18w2d and just felt it today! I've been having some little flutters that I couldn't figure out if it was gas or not, but this was very obvious! You know the feeling you get when you go over the top of a roller coaster? It feels like that to me when the baby rolls over. Still no big kicks, but baby is definitely moving a lot!
19 weeks and I have felt 'lucky' for a couple of weeks... It's not regular et but he's definitely more active when I lie down at night! I read somewhere that if you drink a cold glass of milk and lie somewhere quiet it encourages them to move?!? Xx
I actually started to feel my SON at about 15.5 weeks! But he was measuring ahead by about a week so maybe that's why, or maybe it was the cheesecake, but I felt him!
I'm a stm and I felt lo first right before 14 weeks and now at 16 and some change its a lille stronger but not any more frequent if that makes sense ? I have to lay on my back and poke my belly lol I think it get gummy po'd
I was 17 weeks yesterday and this morning I felt movement from the outside for the first time! I was so excited! I've felt little flutters for the past few weeks that have slowly gotten stronger. I normally only feel it when laying flat on my back. I think a lot of it depends on your build, too.
