weaning at 15 months old

My 15 month old has been drinking whole milk and nursing for comfort since 12 months. I'm due with baby 2 in september and in the process of weaning her. She started biting me so I'm over it!   It's been 3 days of no boob and she's still asking for it.  How long until she forgets and stops asking for it?

    Depends on babe. My DD didn't ask for BF ever, during BF or as she completed weaning (16m), but she did ask for her paci - was cranky about that for a month. My DS asks to BF and I am weaning him slowly, trying for distractions and substitutes and if that doesn't work a "snack". He's 20m and I hear they can be more stubborn, but he's doing well enough. You are braver than me if you've gone 3 days.
