  I had some around that same time along with some cramping, so I went to my doctor, and all was well.  If you're concerned, can you put a call in to your nurses' hotline?

  I had the same thing around 6, 7, & 8 weeks. Everything was fine. My Dr just said it was implantation spotting still. I'm over 10 weeks now and haven't had any brown discharge since 8 weeks.

  Yes, I went to see my dr at 5+4 to have a blood draw to see if I was miscarrying, it lasted about a week and then I had red blood and passed a few clots. I thought I had miscarried. I've had some u/s's and have been diagnosed with an SCH. My dr said may or may not continue having brown discharge, which I have. I go back in 3 weeks for another u/s to check and see if the blood pocket has gotten smaller and if the SCH has resolved itself.

  I had brown spotting at 7 weeks with my last pregnancy. Dr said completely normal. Brown blood is old blood and you really don't need to worry.

  I'm so thankful for this site! I also started brown discharge 2 days ago and it has been stressing me out. I have my first ultrasound tomorrow. I will let you all know how it goes! I'm feeling that everything is fine but 1st pregnancy nerves kick in! A few friends with kids have said it's normal as well.

  I dealt with this issue also for almost 3weeks. The brown spotting just ended a few days ago on the day of my first doc. Appt (go figure). She told me that it was perfectly normal. Seeing the baby and the heartbeat was proof enough for me.

  I had brown spotting around 5.5 weeks and doc said it was normal. Hope you are well!

  I also had some around the same time, and it turned out to be implantation bleeding. I wouldn't stress about it.
