  My RE posts on their website.  They do shared-risk IVF and to purchase 3 session it's 22k including all medication.   If you don't get pregnant after 3 cycles, they refund 10k.

  I've paid entirely out of pocket twice, using an ARC contract both time.

  
  

  First cycle: 14,000 (9000 IVF, 5000 meds)

  Second cycle (current) 22,000 (11,000 ivf, 11000 meds)

  
  

  The cost though obviously is pretty variable on a)your med protocol and b)if you do things like icsi or assisted hatching (which add up)

  I paid entirely out of pocket for 4 cycles and one fet. Paid for all the normal meds out of pocket as well as immune treatments. It was rough but so worth it.

  IVF #1 $18K with meds

  IVF #2 $18K with meds

  IUI #1 $1200 + $1000 in meds

  IUI#2 $1200 + $1000 in meds 

  IUI#3 $1400 + $2500 in meds 

  IUI #4 $500 in ultrasounds + $2500 in meds  cycle cancelled 

  IUI #5 $500 in ultrasounds +$3000 in meds cycle canceled

  IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar

  We paid out of pocket this last cycle. It came to about $23,000. $8000-meds and $15000- for ivf with ICSI. I was also on the highest med protocol. we are on in our tww now, but if we have to do ivf again we will be exploring every option to help pay for it! I wish you the best!!

  Our total costs round 1 were around the 12k mark, and then the frozen cycle were closer to like 5/6k. It's been a while so I'd have to look it up. This was in Canada. Like @jnissa said though, it depends on your protocol and the amount of meds you require.

  • 2012 - 3 Rounds clomid - all BFN
  • 2013 - 1 Fresh IVF with 2 day 3 embryos - BFN
  • 2014 - 1 Frozen IVF with 2 day 5 embryos - BFN
  • Took a long break, continuing trying naturally
  • Feb 2016 - Biopsy = Endo, DH sperm improved from 1% to 6% morphology
  • March 2016 - Fresh IVF cycle with acupuncture & intralipids: 20 eggs retrieved (17 mature), 7 ICSI'd fertilized, 9 naturally fertilized. 16 total embryos!
  • April 8th - 2 embryos (1ICSI and 1 Natural) transferred. (7 blastocysts frozen), April 18th - Beta = BFN
  • Sept 23rd - Lupron Depot Injection for Endo control
  • Nov 15th 2016 - Started daily Lupron Injections for upcoming FET
  • Nov 22 - Baseline US/BW - Intralipid Infusion - Start Meds for FET with immune protocol
  • Dec 16th FET transfer of 3 embryos (1 - AA, 2 - BB)

  • Dec 22nd - first ever bfp (very faint lines FRER & cheapie)
