Ok, so I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and one on the way. The one on the way was a surprise so when we bought our Subaru Outback last year, we only had planned on fitting 2 car seats, which is no problem. Now when baby comes we will need an infant one to fit with a 2 other forward facing ones.
We just got an Evenflo Big Kid Booster Seat for our 3 year old, we have an average size convertable seat for my 1 year old (forward facing), and I was looking for the slimmest infant seat on the market.
I think we can make it work, I have seen some small ones like Baby Trend, but I was curious to see if any other mommies have any suggestions on 3 car seats in one back seat. I am just not a "van person" so I am on a mission to make it work! Thanks!
Re: 3 car seats in a subaru?
The outback is really hard to get three across in. I would bet you would need 2 sunshine kids Radians to get them to easily fit. Your 3 year old would probably be better suited for a harnessed seat.
You should post this on https://www.car-seat.org/. You do not have to registar to ask a question and I know there are several Suburu owners on there.
