Milkies milk savers

I saw an ad on Facebook for milkies milk savers. It's a plastic piece you put in your bra on the unused breast while you nurse to save the otherwise wasted milk. It's around $25-$30. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this? Is it worth the money?

I personally haven't used them because I don't leak on the other side...but, I know a few people that have and they swear by them. They also wear them in their bra instead of pads to catch what leaks during the day.

I found them on Walmart.com. I do leak, so thought it might be worth it.

My SIL used it and really liked it. Both of her breasts would let down at the same time so she would put this in the side he was not nursing on and get like 2 ounces. She thought it was awesome.

Hmm, this is interesting. I am not planning to pump for this baby, I hate it so much. But I do have a strong letdown in both breasts multiple times per feed so I could collect enough milk for a few babysitter bottles. On the other hand, $30. On the other other hand, a thing of formula is almost that much.

I only really leak when I wake up first thing in the morning or if he's gone a long time between feelings at night - and both those times I just pump my other boob so I'm not sure it would be worth it for me.
But if you're super leaky during the day then I'd think it's a good investment. You'll probably have it your whole BFing journey.

I have it, it works great. Only worth it if you leak a decent amount and then can add it to what you pump
