August 2015 Moms

Yeah, i may have freaked out.....

Sleep is such a blessing when I can actually get it. To the point where, yes, if I am woken up by anything else that isn't my husband or dog, I will be grumpy. But as we all know, SLEEP IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE. So yes, I Will follow my sister in law around and demand an apology for her rudely waking me up. And yes, I will over react because I am 39 weeks pregnant. And yes, if you try to tell me I am over reacting until I calm down, I will be pissed. Great mornin y'all. Just great.

Oh also, do not fucking treat someone like they are stupid when they say "you know how hard it is to sleep in the third trimester", bitch.

  • Lol I know the feeling. We are living with my mother while our house is being renovated. I was up all night last night with painful Braxton hicks finally ebbed around 630. I went to sleep. My mom calls me at 8:00 ask if I overslept for my doctors appointment at 1045. Then I was awake and couldn't go back to sleep.

  • :( any word on their loan approval??
  • My mother in law is staying with us right now, but because my sister in law and brother in law and nephew are still here, my mil has to sleep in my room. Sil thought it was a great idea to have my nephew come into my room and wake up my mil, with no, "hey sorry I woke you up" nope. Nada. Ugh!!! Perhaps it's the way I was raised, a small gesture goes a long way.

@SashaDenn25 his application was approved, but the place isn't ready. -.- and my mom was super nice and bought them a house warming gift. ;) i think seven people in a 3 beedroom house is just too crowded.

Heck yes it is...3 is too crowded when you are pregnant and tired let alone 7. FX their place is ready sooner rather than later!!
  • Right!!!!?!! I sure hope so, because I'm done. I know I over reacted....but come on.
  • I completely understand you on this! Last month I was juuust starting to fall asleep after having walked the house for an hour trying to get sleepy when my husbands phone went off w/ a text message. Ive repeatedly asked him to tell his brother not to contact us past 10 PM unless it's an emergency and he definitely texted at 2am just to say "hey so you know I'm gonna stay with you when we come" (for the baby shower that was two weeks away! What part of that couldn't wait?)

I laid in bed stewing until I was finally able to fall asleep again at 5:30. I wouldn't have been surprised if steam was coming out of my ears. And Hubby definitely got an earful when he woke up the next morning!
  • @Miz_Liz I almost hit her this morning. And now, I am so tired. I suffer from insomnia, so add that to pregnancy, so sleep is a big deal to me. My mom was mad when she heard how this morning went down. She said "she is lucky that she did not do that in front of me" because my mom us very protective of her kids. I just don't get it, common courtesy says a small apology is due.
  • One of these nights, when your awake at 2 or 3 am go wake her up and then say "hey, I can't sleep want to keep me company?" do that a few times in a row and maybe she'll get the idea lol of course I'm a mean hearted ice bitch and would do that every night if I were in your shoes, I would make as much racket as possible to make sure she had a crappy nights sleep.
