STM and New Moms - tell me about your labor onset

i know every woman and every pregnancy is different - I like hearing all kinds of different experiences. So - tell me how it happened with your previous babies! Did labor come out of nowhere or did you see it coming from a mile away? Any sense it was coming or pronounced symptoms?

    My water broke at 36w 1d last time. Turns out I had an abruption of my placenta. We got to the hospital and I didn't even realize I was already having contractions.

    Because I am not sure what early labor actually feels like, even little feelings or change makes me wonder, "is this it?"
