I'm feeling particularly pregnant today and just wondering how all the other multiples are doing out there! Anyone have to do their non-stress tests yet? I start mine soon and am curious how they work.
Yep feeling very uncomfortable and having a hard time physically! But the babies are doing awesome Baby A @ 3 lbs 11 oz and Baby B @ 3 lbs 8 oz for 30 week scan! I don't have NST'S until 36 weeks and never had them with my previous pregnancies so I'm not even sure how they work!
So uncomfortable! I've been swelling more, but I attribute that to the heat and humidity and not having a/c. Doing much of anything physically ushering really hard. My last ultrasound at 30 weeks (I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow) had my babies at 4lb 3oz and 3lb 12oz. Thanks GD. I haven't heard whether I'll be having NSTs or anything like that. I have an appointment on Monday, so I guess we'll see then.
Both babies are measuring close to 3 lbs apiece at 28 weeks. I failed my one hour glucose test so have to do the three hour on Monday. Womp womp. I also cut back my work schedule from 3 12hr shifts to 3 8hr shifts, kinda sucks though bc it cuts into my maternity leave. But---keeping the babies cooking is top priority! I had a NST this week bc I felt like baby A was moving less than baby B. They are both doing perfectly fine! Basically, they put 3 monitors on you-one to measure each babies HB & one to measure contractions. They also give you a button to push when you feel movement. The idea is that they look for each babies' baseline HB then measure accelerations in HBs with movement. It took me about 20 minutes but can take up to an hour if they aren't getting the recordings they need. They can also "buzz" the baby to get it moving if needed but I didn't have to have that. Anyhow, it is painless for everyone & you just get to lie in a recliner for the test Best of luck on yours! Edited for typo

Everyone's babies are so big! Mine are hovering around 3lbs with A bigger than B (30w 5d). I have 2 NSTs a week scheduled starting next week...maybe just because my girls are mono/di and I am scheduled for my c section on Sept 16? On a fantastic note, my last day at work is next Tuesday!!!! Can't come quick enough cause the fatigue is getting bad.
Definitely feeling uncomfortable!! Just had an ultrasound yesterday at 31 weeks and babies were 4lbs 5oz, and 4lbs 8oz. They are definitely ahead for weight, but I also have GD. My other two boys were big babies though, so they said it might be a combination of the two. I started weekly NST last week, and the babies look great. I did have two contractions while I was there yesterday, so I'm glad my doc started them just to be safe. Hang in there twin mommas...home stretch!
So the day after I started this thread I went to triage due to decreased fetal movement and now here I am admitted and on all kinds of drugs! Turns out I was having contractions and am 1cm dilated. Doing fine, they're just giving me the steroids and magnesium to help the girls and keeping me for observation. If anyone feels anything even the slightest bit abnormal, go in! I'm glad I did!

Oh no!! I'll be thinking of you & your girls. I'm so glad you went in though! Please keep us posted!

Im 28 weeks and I've definitely been more uncomfortable lately, no swelling yet though. Baby boy is 1.13 lbs and baby girl is 2.5 lbs. And since baby boy isn't weighing as much I have to go every Tuesday for NST and every Friday for ultrasounds. As of now I'm still working 36 hours a weeks but I feel that won't last much longer
Working 40 hours a week probably didn't help my developing contractions. If you live in a state that pays, take your leave asap! I live in CA and we get paid 4 weeks before delivery (which we know for us twin moms is coming up!).
Hi Mommys, I am 31weeks 5days with twin girls. I started my nst two weeks ago because I am high risk to go into preterm labor given my birthing history I guess haha both of the girls are doing great and no contractions yet During the nst they find both heartbeats and strap you to z bed then they strap a third band around your tummy to monitor for contractions so three bands in total two monitoring the babies heartbeats and then the other. It's usually only for 10-20 minutes. I went for a growth ultrasound today and the girls are measuring right on target except baby A is a few oz less than b so both over 3.5lbs! Sadly both are breech right now face to face haha, do you have any suggestions on how I can encourage them to flip? Hehe. Good luck to you all and enjoy your multiple blessings!!!
