Is anyone else having as much of a hard time as me??? Straight out of the womb and went to surgery and had his tef repair spent 3 weeks in the nicu (yes he was a full term baby) and went home 3 weeks now we're back in hospital looking at heart surgery. DOES IT EVER END????

We're back in hospital because his heart is working so hard when he feeds because of heart murmurs, that he burn everything he eats. Making it EXTRA hard for weight gain.

Not exactly in the same boat but we are looking at heart surgery due to 2 holes if it won't fix itself by our next appointment. So I understand how scary all this has been.

Well as of now he is on heart medications to make it not work so hard and on meds to get blood out of his lungs. They are talking about home tomorrow IF he gains more weight, If no weight gain then we will be here until he has 3 consecutive days of gain.

Update no.2 well he lost weight again this morning. He's at higher cal formula and he's on heart meds so his heart don't have to work so hard when he eats. So now what??? I'll let yall know after doctors show face.

Well Mr chase went home today! We have to go to follow up appointments for his heart and weight. So hopefully we can avoid another surgery! Thank you all for the thoughts and concerns!!!

UPDATE: after his tef repair his esophagus is closing and making it extremely hard to eat tomorrow we have to go to the hospital and baby boy will have to be put under to get it dialated=/

Well his dialation went well. He got to come home right after he had his procedure and he will continue to have to get it every week. To every two weeks then monthly then every two months. Thank yall for your thoughts and prayers. It's been a hard journey so far!

It scares me with them putting him under everytime he gets this procedure done. Everything has cause a lot of anxiety.
