Baby Monitor

One of our Summer baby monitor receivers stopped working and the model has been discontinued. I loved ours because it had one camera and two receivers so I could keep one upstairs and downstairs, depending where I was. I can't find another model with this feature so I need advice. What monitors do you recommend? Does anyone like the Wifi versions? Thanks for the tips!

    I have one by Lorex.  It came with one receiver, but more were available to buy.  It has a night vision option too.  Of course I'll have to actually have her sleep in her crib to try this out.... :)

    We have a D-Link. It connects to our phones, computer and iPad by wifi. DH can also check it from work. The sound quality isn't the greatest so we also have a separate audio monitor. I felt better having that additionally in case the wifi stops working or if the grandparents (who are more technologically challenged) are babysitting.

    Thank you both!!! Summer offered to send us their Wifi version as a replacement. We'll see how it works?! @CanadaMom17, LO is still in our room in a bassinet. I'm telling myself that once she's rolling over, we'll move her to the crib.....

    Just something to consider with wifi - anyone can hack your wifi and see your feed. Now they're probably only going to see a sleeping baby but still... There are psychos out there

    @dm28 I am worried about that! It's one of the reasons we originally went with the other model. But I can't find another monitor that has two receivers, so DH thinks it might be a good alternative... We'll just have to be very careful!

    CBS did a story awhile back on the wi-fi monitor hacking. It was creepy. Their biggest advice was to be sure to change the default password. We have the D Link too & love it. I also bought a super cheap audio-only monitor for when I'm sleeping so i don't have to have my phone or iPad on all night.
