Baby features!!

My husband and I were looking at our 3D sonogram pictures. He thinks our son looks like me. Such a blessed child ... J/K :P It prompted me to ask this question: What features from your SO/DH do you hope your baby has? What about from you?

I hope my baby boy has his daddy's blue eyes and smile. I hope he has my nose and complexion

My son is a mini version of me. He has my facial expressions, temperament, forehead, nose, lips, ears, hands, feet, but because he has his dad's eyes and is light-skinned like him people say they're twins :-/

My first 2 look so much like their dad. Especially my daughter. My son has my bone structure for the most part but his dad's blue eyes. I'm hoping maybe this one will have my green eyes so people will see me in her. .

My first son is identical to me when I was younger. Judging from the ultrasound this baby has my boyfriends head shape and looks more like him when comparing it to my other sons ultrasound !!

My husband and I looked up dominant traits and we have a pretty good idea of what features he will have. If we're right, he'll probably be a miniature version of my husband. He will have dark wavy hair, big blue eyes, a dimple (or two!). I hope he gets my husbands skin pigmentation. I burn, but he could go out in the middle of the night and get a tan. He was such a cute kid!!

My fiancé and I both have dark brown hair and brown eyes so we think our son will too.

Looking at the most recent ultrasound picture he clearly has his Dad's nose! I have a small button nose that curves up a little at the tip and my fiancé had a wider nose that points down and that's what our son clearly has.

I'm pretty sure he has his dad's ears too from the ultrasound.

I hope he has my teeth! Mine all came in straight and I never needed braces! I've also never had a cavity or any teeth issues! My fiancé has so many cracked/broken teeth (in the back) because brittle teeth run in his family.

I hope he has my fiancé's perfect eye sight since I am blind as a bat. Almost literally. -4.5 in my left eye and -5.5 in my right eye. Can't see for shit without my glasses or contacts.

My son has features from each parent - my chin, DH's ears, his eyes are kind of like mine but much bluer, he's got DH's hands and feet. People say he looks just like me, but he also looks very much the way DH did at 2. I like that he's a blend of both of us.

I hope DD has the same head of slightly wavy hair, long eyelashes, and dimples. I don't have a preference what color her eyes are - blue like big brother, green like mine or brown like DH (not as if I can pick, lol).

In ultrasound pictures, DS and DD look very similar in profile. I'm curious to see how much my daughter will look like her big brother. I imagine them as male and female versions of each other.

My SO's eyebrow shape and fullness. And his eye shape.

I hope he gets the height from my side of the family, my mouth and thick hair from my side.

So far we've blended well. And the 20 week sonogram we had showed a lot of similarities to my youngest girl.

Welp based on the ultrasound we just had baby girl has a big noggin like her daddy but apparently has my nose lol. Also she has hair which is more than I can say for myself when I was a baby!

DH and I are hopping that DS gets my skin. DH is Irish and very fair skinned. I'm Italian, Greek and German so even though I'm pale my skin handles the sun well. Poor DH gets horrible sunburn from nothing.

Both my parents have dark brown hair, and my mom has brown eyes and my dad has hazel eyes. My mom is dark skinned and my dad is pale. I have naturally blonde hair, blue/green eyes and pale skin, but I don't burn, I tan amazingly !

I'm hoping he gets DH's blue eyes, dimples, height (6'5") and jawline. I hope he gets my skin (DH only goes from white to red usually, I'm usually tan) and my hair.

Can't tell at all from the ultrasounds....so excited to find out in a couple months!

We haven't had an ultrasound in a while. In previous ultrasounds, it looked like Baby has DH's nose and jawline.
We're both brunettes with thick curls/waves and an olive complexion. Baby will likely inherit both of these from us (unless he somehow gets my dad's thin hair, my grandmother's light skin, and DH's grandmother's blonde hair).
I hope he's born with a lot of hair. DH and I both were.
I hope he inherits DH's green eye color, but my eye shape. I hope he doesn't get DH's large knuckles with skinny fingers. Maybe he'll even get my sister's freckles.
I REALLY hope he gets my teeth. DH had braces growing up. My teeth aren't perfect, but I didn't have the need for braces. Poor DH had so many cavities growing up, even when he was very small and my MIL would brush and floss for him.

I can't wait to see how we blended together to make this little boy!

Our DD is a very good mixture of my husband and myself. But we literally mixed up some of my baby pictures with hers up to age 3 and had a hard time figuring out who was who. Biggest difference is she has darker/curly hair and more full lips. Otherwise, pretty identical. We are curious how this next one will come. Wondering if she will be identical to her sister !

I have straight brown hair, my husband has straight blonde hair and our son has red curly hair! The red and curls comes from both extended families, but it was a suprise! We hope this next one also has the red curls! We love it!

This is exactly how it is with DS's bright blue eyes. My mom has really blue eyes and DH's bio dad reportedly had really blue eyes (he was adopted as an infant and never really knew his bio parents). We were mildly surprised when DS was born with blue, blue eyes. I was expecting him to have brown since that's usually dominant.

Another feature I hope DD inherits is her father and big brother's ability to tan. DH is 1/4 Cheyenne, which is where I think he gets his tan from. He's normally pretty light-skinned, but he never burns, just tan. DS has the same thing. When I burn, DS just gets a funny-looking tan line from his tee shirt or rash guard, even if I've forgotten the sunscreen (which I did a time or 2).

I hope DD also gets to tan without turning a blotchy red first (and without excessive sun exposure!).

I feel your pain! -5.5 in my left with astigmatism and -7.5 in my right!

We have our 3d on Tuesday and I'm so excited to see what she looks like! We both had very blonde hair as kids and pretty much everyone in my family did too. But mine darkened in high school while his stayed mostly blonde a lot longer. The tech at our AS made a comment about her having my nose so we'll see if that sticks. I really hope she has my eyes though! SOs alternate between green and Hazel and are pretty but mine are really bright green. Other than that neither of us had braces and neither of us really burn much. I do burn less and tan almost immediately but he's not far behind. I averaged out height after high school where he's always been tall so hopefully there's a good middle ground there!

I hope our DS has his fathers thick hair but my hair color. I was bald up until I was almost three, but DH had thick hair as a baby. When mine finally grew out it was white blonde. Now its dirty blonde with natural highlights. I too hope he has his fathers jawline and perfect vision. This just makes me even more antsy for delivery day

I would really like my son to have my red hair. But being that my husband is a dark haired, dark eyed Portuguese man, I am out of luck!

My daughter got all of his dark coloring, but looks exactly like me otherwise. I think my son will be the same.

I'm hoping our son has his daddy's lips and darker skin tone. I hope he has my big eyes and my nose. Or a nice combo of our noses. I'm sure he'll have curly hair..my boyfriend has very thick spiral curls and mine is wavy. Although it would be cool if he got my mom's blue eyes?! And I hope he has his dad's teeth..They're literally perfect and he never had braces. I can't wait to meet him! 55 days! :x

Unfortunately, I think DD will probably inherit the wide feet that DH and DS and I have. I hope she lucks out because wide-width shoes are hard enough to find for men and boys, but even harder for women and girls (aside from sneakers).

I hope our LO gets DH's freckles but my complexion (DH is Polish he's very fair skinned and burns so easily and does not tan. I'm fair skinned my dad is of German descent but my mom is Cherokee Indian and has tan skin year round so I'm pale but I tan easily) I have green eyes and DH has blue so she could have either and I'd be happy with that. But Lord help us with her hair. We both have very thick curly unruly hair. I was very tender headed as a child and I'm praying she is not. My hair was blonde when I was little but as I got older it turned medium-dark brown, DH of course has almost black hair, so who knows what color she'll have. I hope she has my long legs but DH's small feet, but judging by previous ultrasounds she seems to have my long feet and toes lol.

Same here! My whole family is hoping for a little red haired girl like me but hubby is Italian so I highly doubt it. Hoping she gets his olive skin so she won't have to be as afraid of the sun as pale me!

DH and I are both tall, so we hope she is. At each ultrasound they mention her big feet, so assuming she gets that from me, since all of the women on my mom's side have size 10s/11s with super long toes.

I hope she gets my husband's complexion, hair and teeth. We both have brown hair but his is thicker. DH says I have pretty teeth, but they've required a lot of money, where his haven't.

I hope she gets my vision, hands, and ears (DH has big ears) and while I'd love for her to have blue eyes like my mom and mil, I'd like for her to get my green eyes if she doesn't.

We have a bet going on hair color - I had bright red hair as a baby, and he was super blonde. We're both kind of hoping she has red hair.

In our 3D ultrasound, she seems to have dad's nose. I hope she gets his complexion, because I burn instantly. She'll probably have blue eyes unless something crazy happens.
