Prayers needed

Good morning ladies!!! I have been in labor for a little over 26 hours and need your prayers. My uterus for some reason isn't handling the contractions like it is supposed to and is causing me to dialate very slowly. It has taken me over 12 hours to get from 5 to 8cm. We are hopefully at my next check we are ready to rock and roll but if not we will have to start discussing other options. I really would like to have this baby naturally and not end up in a c section. Thank you all so much.

Are you in natural labour or being induced? Has your dr told you that c section is the next step if you don't dilate further?

I am being induced due to hypertension. We haven't talked yet about what the next step is. By the way the nurse talks we may be looking at stopping the pitocin and giving my uterus a break for a little while. I will give an updated report once I see my doctor here shortly. Induction is no joke.

With my first I was induced and didn't progress. We stopped for a bit and then tried something different before continuing with pit. It was a long process but worked. Good luck to you!
