I am thankful I finished my grocery shopping today and avoided the weekend rush. Grocery shopping is the bane of my existence so I'm happy I have a full fridge and pantry for a while.
I'm so thankful for my wonderful IL who have been taking DD for 2-3 nights each week. I'm also thankful for my husband providing so well for us. And not annoying me lately.
I'm thankful my boss is letting me work half days this week and I don't have to use any time off. Tomorrow is my last day and I am hoping baby will come before Monday when we have to have the induction talk with my Dr. Also so incredible thankful for my sweet husband who helps and supports me everyday!
I'm thankful my best friend made a last minute flight reservation to spend next week with me. I'm recovering from a cold for 4 days now.. and thankful I was sick this week instead of it being the next week when my friend is here.
I'm thankful that I work in an amazing office. They threw me a surprise baby shower yesterday and had DH and DS there, along with 21 of my co-workers (out of 35). We got lots of diapers and over $200 for our sweet baby. And, they even thought of DS and got him a "Big Brother Survival Kit" with a puzzle, t-shirt, coloring packages, a book, and a toy car. He loved it! I might complain on here about not having anything to do while I'm here and counting down the days, but I definitely work with the best people I could ever ask for!
So thankful for a healthy baby. I am also thankful that i am over 3 cm dilated, just waiting for everything to kick in and start labour to see my little girl in my arms.
I'm thankful for a healthy baby and a great pregnancy. I was a little bummed today when I had my first cervical check at 40w2d and I haven't dilated at all, my cervix is completely closed and long, and still posterior. But, then I remembered what all I have to be thankful for. Plus, that could change at any minute.
I am thankful my mom arrived Sunday and is staying for five weeks. She has been deep cleaning every day and helping with DD as much as possible. Oh AND making dinner every night. Which is a major help.
@deviduke412 you know im thankful for a great pregnancy too and didnt even think about it until you said it.
This pregnancy has been a breeze and still feeling good at 40wks1d I feel really blessed as I know it hasnt been as easy for many others. Im also very thankful DH encouraged me to take pictures of my progress throughout pregnancy. I absolutely did not want to saying that I did not want to remember myself like this, but I was flipping through the pictures today and couldnt keep the grin ofd my face from thinking about each week, my different moods of scared and then excited switching baxck and forth. Just made me really happy to have it documented.
I am thankful that my daughter is over 5 lbs now at 1 mth old!!! :-) I'm also thankful that I got to see my brother who will be moving closer by the end of the month! I can't wait to see my family that's coming up on Saturday too! And my guilty confession... I'm thankful that my in-laws FINALLY left after 7 hours of "popping in" to say hi.
I am thankful LO has stayed put long enough (so far) to make it to 37 weeks (tomorrow) phew! And I am thankful my big man had a great open house and loves his teacher! So excited to start pre-k tomorrow!!!
I'm thankful that DH offered to pick something up for dinner on his way home from work because he knows I'm feeling pretty crappy. He also did the dishes last night, which is one less thing I have to do!
I am thankful for my boyfriend who wakes up at 3:00 am five days a week to go to work while I stay home living the vida prego. He is such a hard worker and barely complains at all. I feel so fortunate to have him in my life! It makes me emotional. He is going to be the best dad :x
Thankful for baby and me to be safe. A local woman just died in a car wreck. She was also 9 months PG and her baby didnt make it either. Prayers for her family! (
I'm thankful for DH getting so many renos done around the house before LO comes, he's nesting hard! Also thankful that I finally get my car seat tomorrow! Good thing LO didn't come early
Thankful for a devoted DH and parents who are all stepping up to give me extra help in these recent weeks.
Mum invited me and DD to come over between appointments today so we could both have a snooze (g'ma can get DD to sleep an hour or so earlier than i can so it makes our bedtimes easier at night), and she heated up some home made stew for my lunch, so I got some vitamins into me. Bless her.
DH is run down and sick and overworked but still tries to get up in the night as many times as he can to settle DD when she wakes, which is up to four or five times a night at the moment, so I don't have to roll my exhausted beached whale butt out of bed. Thank god for him!!

This made my heart sink... Praying for her family!!
