C section today at 9 Update

Would like t&p that everything comes out smoothly. With my first I had a vaginal birth. Csection for this one and frankly I'm intimidated and a bit scared. Thank you.

Good luck, you'll do great but I understand the anxiety. Once they get started in pre op it gets so chaotic it kind of took my mind off of what was happening. Hoping you a speedy recovery for you!

I was surprised too but we choose with a c section. The baby is estimated at 9.7 lbs. Im 38.4 weeks. With my first, she got stuck at 7.1 lbs. I'm already dilated to a 5 and having contractions.

Good luck! I had a c section as well.. I have never had a vaginal delivery so I can't compare but the procedure wasn't bad... I got nauseous from the spinal but nothing horrible. And pain management afterwards is key. I honestly haven't had that much discomfort. Take the help from the nurses and stay on top of the pain medicine and you'll be just fine.
