Late betas?

Can we talk about late betas?? For once, Dr. Google is putting my min at ease and my OB is freaking me out. I'll be 6w tomorrow, first beta was 11,351 - 46 hours later it was 15,323. My OB is already taking about a D&C but I was under the impression that over 6,000 doubling times slowed to over 96 hours. Anyone have any advice, good stories, etc?!

3 miscarriages - 1 DS (6) - 1 DD (3)  - #3 due March 30!

    Have they done an ultrasound because without seeing that there is no baby or heartbeat I wouldn't do a D&C especially not this early on. I have no experience with this but I'll be sending you lots of T&Ps. Good luck.

    I had one a 5 and 2/3. Gestational sac, yolk sac and potential fetal pole all measuring 5 w 5 d. No heartbeat detected yet. @lightrox

    5 weeks is early for an ultrasound I would wait until at least 7 weeks and see if you can get one redone. I hope the outcome is positive have you had bleeding or cramping any sign that the pregnancy may not be viable? I had a blighted ovum last year and my doctor wouldn't do a D&C until I was over 8 weeks just to make sure they didn't miss anything.

    Hmmm...I always say OB>dr.google, but 5 weeks seems early to declare blighted ovum. I also experienced one and my Dr. also waited till 8 weeks.
