14 weeks/lemon

Yay second trimester!!!!!

Symptoms

Most of mine are fading (thank goodness!) but I'm still tired and occasionally (at night) a little queasy. But food is becoming my friend again, which is AMAZING!!! My #1 symptom is probably the weird dreams I'm having every night. I never used to remember my dreams after I woke up, but now I do!

Cravings

None in particular (yet) but I've been really enjoying salty food. Pizza has been good again

Next one is August 27th, the big ultrasound will be September 17th

GTKY: What was your favorite vacation ever?

Probably Europe when I was 13. I went with my parents and two of my cousins. We flew into Paris and spent a day there, then we drove to Austria and spent a week there while taking little day trips to other areas of the country and to Germany one day. Then we drove to the French Alps and spent a week there, also taking day trips to the coast and to Geneva, Switzerland and Venice, Italy. Then we went back to Paris for a couple days before flying out. Didn't get to go up the Eiffel Tower, but we did go to the base of it. We also went to the Musée du Louvre and Musée d'Orsay, which being a major art geek was the best thing ever!!!!

Symptoms

still having some on and off nausea but definitely getting better. I am not sure if it is stuff I have been eating or the pregnancy, but I feel so bloated and gassy.

Cravings

I just keep craving spicy food! and cheese cake. But there are no good cheesecake places around here. I may order my favorite cheesecake from Veniero's in NYC - I did this last pregnancy too, and then ate the whole cake in a week.

Appointments

I have a NT scan next week!

GTKY: What was your favorite vacation ever?

Several years ago, pre baby, my husband and I went to Italy for 2 weeks and went to Venice, Rome and Florence. We had the best time! We drank a liter of wine with lunch and then walked around looking at all the sites! and then of course, we drank another liter of wine for dinner. Food was amazing and wine was amazing, gelato was to die for... this is making me hungry...

Week/Fruit: 14 weeks! Lemon!

Symptoms: I thought my morning sickness was about gone because I've been feeling better, but I've still been taking my unisom+b6 at night. So I didn't take it last night... And it definitely isn't gone!

I can actually eat most things now though so that's good. Unisom+b6 has been a miracle worker for me. I'll just keep taking it I guess!

Cravings: Haven't really had many cravings. Only random things at random times but no real cravings of just one thing.

Appointments: Aug 12 is my next appt. Hoping to talk to my actual dr about trying for a vbac but I don't think I am scheduled to see her... I'm also thinking about switching doctors but don't know what to do!

GTKY: What was your favorite vacation ever?
I've had a few that were pretty awesome! Went to Hawaii with a big group of foreign exchange students when I was 13 (my mom was a coordinator for an exchange program). We only went for a week but it was so fun! I wanna go back so bad! I also loved my honeymoon in San Diego and Disneyland

Week/fruit: 11 weeks/lime! I wish I was at the beginning of the month, I hate being one of the last!

Symptoms: my exhaustion has been just as bad as it was from about 4-7 weeks. Also crazy crazy dreams. Other than that I'm feeling great!

Cravings: anything and everything sweet. Lately it's been chocolate chip cookies or ice cream.

Appointments: I have my next appt on the 17th. Don't get to see baby on US till September 29th

GTKY: going to Japan to visit my husband when he was stationed there a few years ago! It was my first time leaving the country and it was such an experience!

Week/Fruit 12 weeks/Plum!

Symptoms: Tired and sore boobs. I'm still on meds for m/s but have no idea if it is gone because I am afraid to go off the meds!

Cravings nothing this week

Appointments 11 days until my NT scan (seems kind of late compared to everyone else mine will be at 13w4d)

GTKY: What was your favorite vacation ever? I went to Spain and Morocco the summer before my Sr. year in high school it was amazing, we spent a month there

Week/Fruit: 14 weeks, lemon

Symptoms: stuffy nose, insomnia and nausea if I don't eat.

Cravings: Right now I am craving a carne asada burrito!

Appointments: Regular appt on Monday. Nothing exciting though. Hope to hear the HB on the Doppler.

GTKY: What was your favorite vacation ever? Two years ago we took a family vacation to a lake in MO. I spent my summers there as a kid. It was amazing to share my childhood memories with my own kids.

Weeks/Fruit: 13! Peach!

Symptoms: Really just insomnia. I was up from 2:30-4:30 last night. Planning to take Benadryl tonight. I can fall asleep, but staying asleep is not working.

Cravings: Pretty much anything. Yesterday afternoon I had a coke and it was amazing. Been thinking about it since...

Appointments: Got to see the babe on Tuesday! Wiggly little thing. Next appt in about 3.5 weeks.

GTKY: loved my honeymoon to Maui, but traveling in Italy during college was pretty much the coolest thing I've ever done.
