Throbbing/pulsing ear drum?

Anyone else having this issue? Every minute or so my ear drum (right ear only) will pulsate. I assumed it had to do with extra blood flow and all that, and Internet research seems to show there's a major blood vessel or vein or whatever that runs behind the ear. Anyway the movement is driving me CRAZY and I'm just wondering if anyone who has experienced it has found a way to soothe it... :(

    I get this a few days before I get sick.  It's super annoying, especially since I know I will be getting ill soon afterwards.  I have always assumed it was from the extra pressure building in my head.  No remedy that I know of, but I always start taking cold eeze as soon as I feel it to try and fight off the cold.

    I'm just guessing but thinking it's not pregnancy related and more likely your eustachian tube is inflamed and/or middle ear inflamed. Maybe try a safe for pregnancy decongestant like sudafed.

    I thought I was the only one... I've had 3 ear infections this pregnancy. First ones since I was about 8... so weird. I might get it checked in case yours is an infection too
