  There are a few women on there who intervened and explained the importance of getting to know the culture of a certain board before you can judge. Clearly some smart and experienced ladies in that group. I actually feel bad for the OP, she has no idea what she just potentially started! I hope it goes away quietly, for her sake.

  Yes there were clearly some ladies that were not so quick to judge/comment, I was surprised that the first time I went lurking the very first post I clicked on had someone with something negative to say about our BMB though! :-O

  I'm glad a few people pointed out that they weren't looking at the whole board. I have seen really supportive posts even from topics like "I just want this baby out" threads. It really is all about tone and honesty with the responses you get. I've been really moved at the honesty from you all about how scary labor can be, things that have happened to you, and the kinds of mothers you are or are afraid to be. Since we can't drink, I'll raise a ~O) to my sweet August b*tches!

I love coming over here to see what I have to look forward to and get advice on things that ladies on my board haven't thought to ask! I love your board your all wonderfully supportive and kind and intellegent! I hope you don't hate us all for the ignorance of a few :x

  I liked some of the September ladies responses. At least some people can recognize hot button issues and take it for what it is. I haven't had any real issues on this board or any others, but I also try and be mindful to read before I post...

  I agree, some of them clearly get it. But it is kind of funny that the OP not only started a BMB war, but she went back to a post from how long ago now? She must have done some real digging to even find that post. Clearly looking to stir the pot, but entertaining none-the-less.

  I liked the responses that said some topics will just be "hot topics" for some boards. I think that's true.
  
  For example, I think one of the big "hot topics" for this BMB is people who are total idiots.

  September mama, who will likely go in August, I occasionally find myself wishing a certain post was on this board because I know it wouldn't fly.
  And I'm one of the ones who pointed out the original post she complained about is something that I personally have to walk away from on posts because it irritates the crap out of me.
  But really, when will people learn not to badly post about other boards?
  I like both boards for different reasons. This one for the awesome memes and mamas ha-ha.

  My favourite Was the comment about getting ripped apart for posting that they are uncomfortable and done and how of course they don't really want a preemie. They forgot that the posts where people get "rude and catty" responses are not just because they are uncomfortable but asking how to induce labor at 35,36 and 37 weeks...so ummm ya they actually do want a preemie since that would be the result of a 36 week birth.

  You hit the nail on the head. We have had a lot of posters with babies who were born way before they were due and their parents are dealing with the NICU nightmares. And as you mentioned there are women who are similar to your case where they fight every day to keep their baby for a few days or weeks longer.
  
  Sometimes it's nice to vent about discomfort but they should always remember that someone out there just may be in a worse situation and since this is an open forum, posters should be ready for retaliation...
