VBAC

I just had a c-section February of this year (2015) and am due January of 2016. I had an emergency c-section due to a high risk pregnancy (placenta previa) and am hoping for a natural birth with my second.

Does anyone who have had a VBAC have any advice? Or those who decided to have another cesarean reasons why?

    There is a VBAC check in a few times a week. And also they have been several threads about this.

    Good morning! I am hoping to have a VBAC this time. I had a C/S in May 2013. There are a few of us on the board and we usually have a VBAC check in thread once a week or so.

    Have you spoken to your doctor about your desire to have a VBAC? Most OBs follow ACOG's recommendations of at least 18-24 moths between births to be considered a good VBAC candidate. Since you'll only be 11 months between births, your doctor may be reluctant. The close timeframe can increase your risk of uterine rupture.

    @RunnerMeg yikes! I brought it up to my OB and she said they may push for a cesarean and I may have to be open to it again, but will see how I am doing throughout this pregnancy.
