Being kept overnight at L & D

What a bummer. I started seeing spots this afternoon and got blurry vision. I called my doctor office and they said to go to L&D to get a full check out. Well thankfully everything has been fine so far with no explanation. The blurred vision only lasted about an hour and went away on it's own.

So I was hoping to go home since everything is fine but they are keeping me overnight to observe and so a neurologist can see me tomorrow. I'm sure I'm ok. I just want to go home :( oh well, at least I know everything is okay with the baby!

    I get spots in my vision every now and then, my doctor didn't seem too concerned about it.. Thinking of you!

    I also see spots frequently and just discussed this with my doc! She wasn't concerned unless I was having a headache w it (which I didn't, I feel totally normal when I get them). She mentioned could be fluctuating blood sugar levels but they do wanna know if they get worse or if I get headache because it can be sign of preeclampsia. Glad you called and got checked out! I hope it's nothing major and you get to go home shortly! Keep us updated!

    Thanks for the well wishes :) I've had the spotty vision before but it was never quite that bad and dizziness and confusion were setting in as well but no headaches! The spell only lasted about an hour. When I got here my BP was elevated but dropped back down to good levels and all of my tests came up fine. Hoping I will be done and out of here before noon today!
