Foley Catheter Induction

Sitting here in L & D. My induction was scheduled for 7pm but they just placed the bulb in.

Oh my word, it hurt like a bitch being placed. Just cramping and mild discomfort now. Luckily it only has to stay in until I'm 4-5cm. I'm currently 2-3cm and 75%.

It's gonna be a long night!

Good luck! I had the foley bulb also, it was so uncomfortable but really did help to speed things up! My cervix was really thick when they placed it but my water broke shortly after and we started moving right along. So worth it in my opinion. Stay positive!

Thanks everyone! It's been a long process. We're still waiting for Ruby to make her appearance. I'll post an update about the whole experience later on. I'm just ready for her to be here! I've been able to sleep most of the day and that has been really good. Trying to settle in for a long night now.
