I had my first u/s today at 5w1d after finally getting pregnant through iui. The dr had a hard time locating the sac due to size and also a tilted uterus. He said its a medium level of concern and things could be fine just early. Did anyone else have an u/s this early and not see much?? Hoping and praying there's a baby growing in there!!
Our earliest scan was 5w5d and we were HEAVILY warned that there might not be that much to see, even with a non tilted uterus. We were lucky enough to see a lot but our Dr told us it was a pleasant surprise for her. When are they having you come back in? I'm sure everything is fine and I know it'll fall on deaf ears if I tell you not to worry.
I had this with one pregnancy and then a week later there was the bean with a heart beat! GL!!! Keep repeating to yourself its early! My OB had done that scan and my RE refuses to do them that early and waits till 7 weeks.

One of mine was just a small sac at 5w6d with a visible yolk- a week later it matched the other two in size and a little heartbeat. That is so early for an ultrasound! Hopefully next time you will see much more!
Thank you all!! I just got my hcg back and it went from 87 last week to 1609 this week which is really promising. I'm going back for more bloodwork and u/s Tuesday which will be 6 weeks.
My RE does my first scan at 7 weeks when everything (including the heartbeat) should be viewable. I do think it's cool you got an early check to see if things are progressing, though.

@jessmarie4 I just wanted to wish you good luck on your testing and I hope everything is progressing smoothly. It sounds like your numbers are good. I'm in the same boat as you but my doctor said they are waiting for my hcg levels to go over 2000 before u/s. I am not sure how early you can see anything.
