Anyone else experiencing this pain?

I'm 37.5 weeks and was 2cm dilated last week but no contractions yet. All week I've been randomly getting this feeling in The front of my right leg where it connects to my body in the same spot. It doesn't hurt as much as it just is like a quick cramp that catches me off guard. It's happened sitting and standing. I heard sciatic pain would run down the back of my leg and contractions wouldn't be so concentrated in one tiny spot of my leg. Anyone else? I see the doctor tomorrow.

Sounds like nerve pain- probably baby is sitting on something that is causing this pain. Definitely does not sound like contractions or sciatica.

Baby pushing on a nerve. I get them going down my inner thighs when she changes position and hits a nerve.

YES. I get it on both sides, usually when I'm walking and it stops me in my tracks. To me it feels like a cramp or charlie horse that comes on suddenly, and usually it will go away if I stretch it out or change positions.

I agree with pp. Sounds like nerve pains. I get them randomly in my groin or thighs.

I am getting them too, although normally I feel it go down both legs at the same time. Yesterday it was so painful, it made me double over and I was thankful I wasn't holding my DD. Just the joys of late third tri pregnancy!

Yep all the time. Doc said totally normal as baby moves down.

Yep. I've had a few of these pains in the past few days in the same spot. Ouch!

Yes I get those too! Like right in my hip flexors and sciatica too. Stops me in my tracks every time

Yes I've noticed this in the last few days. Sort of a pulled muscle feeling in my inner left thigh from time to time that catches me by surprise. It's a weird feeling but I assume as per PPs it's a nerve being jagged by the baby or from the weight of my belly.
