It depends how far along you are. Assuming you're an Aug 15 mom, absolutely not! I'm assuming you mean like speed boating on a lake? We skipped our Raystown Lake annual vacation last week Bc it wouldn't have been safe for me being out on the boat in the choppy waters at 39 weeks.
I would think it would depend on what type of boating you are planning (kayaking, canoeing, speed boating, paddle boating, fishing vessel, ocean liner, sail boat, etc) as well as water conditions (weather and location both play a factor). Other factors would be: how far along you are & what "risk level" your pregnancy has been thus far. Bottom line, I would suggest talking to your midwife or OB about this.

My first question is: where did you find a life jacket that would fit over your bump? If you don't have a life jacket you shouldn't be in a boat, period. If you do have one then I think it depends on the different factors mentioned above.
Power boat? Not at this point in the game. I stopped going on our boat like a month ago because not only was it uncomfortable whenever we hit the tiniest wave or chop, but someone put the idea in my head about hitting a wave too hard and possibly detaching the placenta. Probably super paranoid but it's one of those things you can't undo sooooo. I wouldn't recommend any type of watercraft at this point, TBH.
I was out cod fishing the other day and it was way awesome. I had a men's life jacket that fit clip style not zipper style. I was out in some rough weather but the boat wasn't any more rough then driving over pot holes. I even caught some nice fish
I've barged through the whole summer. Depends on the boat, I'd say. There is nothing choppy about a nice barge ride. I wouldn't wake board at this point though!
I would think it would just be super uncomfortable at this point!! I did some boating at 36 weeks and was fine, but I wouldn't go now simply because I'm too uncomfortable. I'll be 40 weeks in a few days.
As long as you aren't uncomfortable I don't see why not... I'll be 38 weeks and going out on a boat this weekend. We just bought it so we'll be taking it out, just into the bay a little
