babys approx. Weight 7-8 at 36 weeks?

The doctor is saying hes a big baby. So i am going to get an ultrasound to measure the baby and his weight.and to check my cervix.

They estimated my son to be 7.5-8 lbs and no bigger ... He was 9.7 lbs being born .. I wouldn't stress over their estimates because it can be off by 2 lbs +/-

Same here... I was told my son was going to be 7 - 8lbs max and I pushed out a 10lb baby. Just like due dates this is a ball park estimate.

Thank you ladies. Well i went to the doctor today and they told me i was actually 38 weeks so his weight is fine. They said for his weight estimation its fine since im 38 weeks. Thank you again
