Baby fighting breast while nursing sitting up

Hi! I'm having some issues nursing my daughter sitting upright. I stay home with her so a lot of the time I am nursing her lying down. When I am at a restaraunt or somewhere else sitting up, she freaks out. I know I have a fast letdown so that may contribute. But she screams and hits me. It's mostly the left side that she rejects. Any help??

    Mine does this as well when overly tired (which is a lot). I notice it happens mid-way through a feed, i.e. he'll latch on, suck for a while, then start flailing about with his arm and protesting. Then if I rock him a bit he'll eventually settle back down into a normal feed. I also have a fast letdown and think the unpredictable flow has something to do with it.
