Does anyone else catch every freaking bug?

Here I am on my 3rd sickness during this pregnancy and I never use to get sick! I've got the 101 fever, chills, sore throat, body aches, and massive headache. I'm miserable and just cry like a baby. Poor hubs just keeps shoving water and soup down my throat trying to make it better. Anyone else catching every possible thing that comes your way?

    Yes! I'm on my THIRD sinus infection, I've had two plain old colds and one stomach bug! Aside of being pregnant, I've been sick every single month!

    Not as bad as you ladies but in the beginning when I was teaching I seemed to catch everything my kiddos had. Hoping I'm a little past that phase as school starts up again in a few weeks!

    Not as bad as you ladies have, I've mostly just had and colds and bad allergies.

    My DH went to GenCon over the weekend (massive board game convention) and came back with a bit of a stomach flu. Now I have it. 

    He was shocked to see people there with infants. Can't say I blame him.

    I started filling in at my mil's daycare during the summer while my photography business is slow. I've had the stomach bug 3 times so far. I hadn't had the stomach bug in years!

    Yes! It's driving me crazy too. On my third cold with sinus involvement and I got food poisoning last weekend that lasted a good 24 hours. My body is SENSITIVE!

    I had a total of 3 really bad colds/infections. But luckily those ended in the beginning of spring.

    The first time I didn't even know I was pregnant. I was running outside and caught a terrible throat infection that kept me up coughing 3 nights straight. I saw the family doctor with my dad (they have been best buddies for over 40 years). He gave me a bunch of medication. Before I took any, my DH said- I think you could be pregnant. Take a test and call the doctor after. I got the 2 lines on the stick and called him. It was a bit awkward- like, hey remember how you gave me all those meds this morning, so yeah, turns out I'm pregnant, don't tell my dad, but can I safely take these?

    I didn't tell my parents right away because I wanted to see that it goes well and that I'm not imagining the BFP. I was a bit in denial, honestly.

    The last time I was sick, I was 4 months pregnant, we had just moved to a new place and lived in utter chaos, and my DH's grandma fell ill and they thought it was the end so he flew to be with his family, leaving me all alone, pregnant, really sick, in a big pile of mess. It was so bad. His grandma is doing much better, so that's good!

    Well anyway, I hope you feel better soon! And don't get sick again for a while. Go get some rest!!!

    I did when I was pregnant with DD, but it's been better this pregnancy. I was so confused when I was getting sick all the time during my first pregnancy because my mom had always talked about how much stronger her immune system seemed when she was pregnant with all three of her kids. I felt like I got the short end of the stick! I hope this is your last run with a cold and you can have good health leading up to your LO's EDD!

    Yes! Just when my first trimester was wrapping up, I got the flu. And I had gotten the flu shot! Immediately following that, I got pink eye. I'm not sure I've ever gotten pink eye before! I've had to miss visits from my MIL & SIL because they had recent stomach bugs which I probably would have caught. And it's a bummer... I like my relatives!

    I'm with you there. I catch literally everything. I've had a head cold, sore throat, flu, fevers and other such lovely sickness. It is the worst but I'm glad the husband is taking care of you !

    I've pretty much been sick with a cold or allergies for the entire pregnancy. It's maddening. My nose just started running again today and I started crying. With my daughter I was never sick and felt awesome like she had improved my immune system. This time is the opposite.

    Had the flu...now I have strep ! My kids are in a summer camp and strep was going around and they caught it and then so did I. I hardly get sick and now I got sick again 2 months after getting sick from the flu. Thankfully I'm ok and so are they.
