TWW post (week of 8/3 - 8/9)

Hi everyone!  This is a two week wait post for anyone who is in or soon will be in the TWW. Tell us your symptoms (no matter how crazy they may be!), how many DPO you are, and when/if you'll test. Good luck everyone!

Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl! :)

    Just started the TWW today. I won't test until AF is scheduled to arrive and fingers crossed doesn't show up. August 15. Seems like a long time.

    I have about 5 more days until I can test. I want so badly to test now! It will probably be negative. I also promised DH I would do it Saturday with FMU. So that is kind of keeping me from testing early, not to mention he's out of the country til Wednesday. I think I'm having some symptoms and it's hard. It to read anything into it!! Prayers to all in TWW!

    I received my trigger shot on July 22 and should have ovulated within 36 hours. i will assume that on August 7th i will be 14 DPO and would be safe to test. I am almost too nervous to test. We just took a cruise (7/27-8/1) so i am recovering from that so it is hard to say if i am feeling fatigue or bloating from that or if im pregnant.  my side boobs are sore (but could be from my wireless bra) one thing i do know is that i have been having a TON of dreams and waking up sweating! Also mild cramping. My periods arent regular so that doesnt help either.

    10dpo with temp drops the last two days. Not testing unless my temp magically goes up again. ...sigh.

    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    I'm getting ready to start the TWW-- took the trigger shot this morning, and my IUI is tomorrow.

    I'm not sure if I should be excited and hopeful, or just put it all out of my mind and live my life until something happens....
    Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
    Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
    TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
    2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
    Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
    Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!  
    fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! 
    Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    FF says I'm currently at 8dpo, even though I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate (never got a +OPK and had like 15 days of flashy smiley faces on the ClearBlue Advanced test). I started taking progesterone cream 8 days ago and that definitely raised my temps. But you never know - crazy things can happen, right? I'll probably test in a few days, although I'm not getting my hopes up on this one.

    Today was supposed to be our appointment with the new RE but I had to reschedule it for next week because I'm battling a nasty ear infection and was in bed all day yesterday with a terrible fever, nausea, chills and other horrible symptoms. The fever has finally dropped today (yay!) but my ear is still causing me pain and my stomach is not happy - I have to take frequent trips to the bathroom. I've also completely lost my appetite (although I'm forcing myself to eat a little bit when I take my antibiotics). I think all the stomach stuff is probably a reaction to the antibiotics. Took the day off work again today and am bummed since H and I really need the money. Blah.

    @jilligan14 -- so sorry you're sick!

    BFN this morning at 11dpo.  My temp rose slightly, which tricked me into testing. 

    Now I get to wait for Saturday's AF, then WTO, then TWW.  Wait, wait, wait.

    This kind of reminds me of workout videos.  The first few times you do them, they're not so bad, but then you get so used to the routine and you are acutely aware of how long they are and how much is left to go.

    Um, cancel any hope for this cycle. AF showed up unexpectedly last night in all her glory (while I'm battling ear infection and having severe stomach side effects from antibiotics - UGH!). This just confirms I didn't actually ovulate (which I already knew from a lack of +OPK and not a strong enough temp rise). Here's to a fresh start, once again!

    I'm two days before testing, and going nuts! I feel that my symptoms are no different than PMS right now (I even got my monthly little zit), so starting to feel like AF is coming to pay me a visit... 

    @BlissfulWifey I'm also testing on the 7th. Good luck to you!

    I'm sorry for those who are out this cycle, and keeping positive thoughts for the ones still in!

    I'm testing on the 8th. So anxious and nervous! I have been feeling nauseous and very moody. Fx and prayers for the testers to get BFP and prayers also for the ladies who are out for this round.

    That sucks @BlissfulWifey! So sorry!! I'm feeling like AF is coming but holding out hope still. Technically my TWW doesn't end until Monday. I was going to test a few days early. I'm so nervous.

    I know and now that ive tested my stomach is cramping so bad and my lower back is aching! but it would be nice if AF came on her own so i didnt have to do a round of progesterone to induce her for the next round ;)

    So I'm irritated. BFN this morning at 12dpo. I have brownish pink spotting. AF is due Tuesday but if I'm not preggers I wish the witch would just come already.

    One week until AF or testing. The countdown continues. It seems so far away. In the meantime, ordering back-to-school teacher clothes online. :)

    Hi ladies, good luck to those waiting to test and I'm sorry to those who got a bfn. On to next month! I'm a few dpo and although I don't feel confident this month we will see. Hope to see some bfp's soon.

    That's how I always feel too @lyssaroony--if this cycle isn't the one, just get that AF going so another opportunity arrives sooner! Sorry about your BFN.

    Thanks everyone! So AF has still not come. Just random spotting and BFNs! I'm 14DPO/CD30. I've had a few cycles that lasted over 30 days. One was 37! Good grief....

    @CarrieandRoy, yes today should be the first day of AF. Yet another BFN with fmu and still just lightly spotting. I may call the doctor in the next few days if nothing changes. Thanks for checking in with me!

    I didn't see your update but may have skimmed past it. Did AF show?

    Well AF is here with a vengeance. I am having horrible cramping, headaches and backaches. Not to mention the wonderful bright red bleeding. *sigh* Well on to a new cycle and hopefully a better outcome.

    RIght on time.  Sorry it's here with a vengeance.  Mine was extra bad this month, too.  Someone suggested Aleve and it helped me.

    DH bought me Midol PM and I took it around 6:30 and basically slept from 7:30 last night until 7 this morning. I feel a little better today. Just bummed to not be pregnant. I know all of you completely understand. It's been like therapy being on this board. :)
