Double Stroller advice -- City Select Baby Jogger?

We splurged and bought the city select double front and back stroller for our 21-month-old & now three week old. We also bought every darn accessory including the standing board for when the older babe gets a little bigger ... I was surprised it's quite heavy to maneuver and every time there's a bump on the sidewalk you have to lift up the stroller to get over the crack… What have you found to be the best double stroller? Anyone have the city select and love it? Should I suck it up bc I'll get used to it? Thanks in advance!!

  • We have twins and we use that stroller. My husband says it's worth it's weight in gold. We love it. We haven't taken it jogging, but it has done great for us. Idk what accessories you have but it was tricky maneuvering with the car seats attached. Now that they are older the stroller seats are lighter.

  • For walking outside I love my double BOB but for outings like the mall, children's museum etc I loved the city select especially with the huge basket underneath. I used my city select exclusively until DS was big enough to sit in a regular stroller seat because there is no BOB Adaptor for my car seat.

  • Wanted to update because we got another stroller- the City Mini. I like this stroller a lot, but it has it's shortfalls. Close to zero storage underneath for their diaper bag. That's really frustrating. We went to the mall today and couldn't fit a medium sized shopping bag underneath. Also, it doesn't have any cupholders, which is a bummer, because I feel like I'm always carrying their sippy cups around. For a side-by-side though, it does fit into most doorways, and it is easy to move around/setup.  Good luck on your search!
  • I will have 2u2 in January and won't really need a stroller until the spring, but the city select seems weird to me. I love my City Mini GT and really want the double GT. I love the tires, the hand break, the underneath storage isn't huge but I have the skip hop saddle bad that attaches to the side of my single stroller that makes it easy to carry things I need.
